Solar photovoltaic (PV) cells work on the principle that energy in the sun is converted to electricity. PV cells are used to convert solar radiation into electricity. When light shines on the solar panels, an electric field is created, which causes electricity to flow.
This electricity is then captured by an inverter which distributes it for consumption on the premises. If excess electricity is generated that what is required, this excess can be exported to the grid automatically by the inverter.
